Founder and Managing Partner of Panasiuk & Partners, with many years of expertise in wealth management.

 

She supervises a team of lawyers, tax advisors and accountants, whose services are aimed at ensuring effective client portfolio management.

 

Anna boasts many years’ experience in capital markets law, gained while providing day-to-day legal services to investment funds and holding companies. She participated in numerous restructurings and M&A deals, working for both companies and investors.

 

She is also an effective negotiator, representing clients at different investment stages. Over 20 years of experience in dealing with international holding structures allow latitude in choosing appropriate investment instruments.

 

She specialises in intergenerational succession planning, and advises clients on the implementation of their family philanthropic policy. With her hands-on approach, she helps future heirs engage in the execution of family investment plans. She also acts as conservator of private foundations and last will’s executor.

 

Based on her experience, she assembled a team of experts offering services for wealthy families under the brand YOURS Family Office and BE THERE dedicated to investment portfolios, which has become a pioneer of such services in the Polish market.

 

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk, the American Law Program at the Jagiellonian University under the auspices of the Catholic University of America in Washington DC, and Executive Studies in Finance at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

 

An advocate and a Doctor of Juridical Science, Anna is also a patron of arts and founder of the Artis Causae Foundation.

Andrzej has gained his experience working on numerous projects involving foreign investors and major Polish companies in the field of M&A, sale and acquisition of enterprises, as well as on a variety of company restructurings and reorganisations, including by way of merger (also cross-border), division, transformation and liquidation. He also advises on day-to-day corporate matters and meetings of company’s governing bodies, and carries out analyses relating to various aspects of companies’ operations.

 

Furthermore, his interests and experience cover the succession planning for family businesses, as well as legal and tax protection of the business during generation change.

 

Being a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor, Andrzej is an expert on restructuring proceedings involving bankrupt entities, and on bankruptcy matters.

 

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and post-graduate studies in restructuring law at the Łazarski University in Warsaw. Andrzej completed his attorney-at-law training at the Poznan Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law.

Marcin legal counsel with 20 years’ experience. Chief legal counsel (2006-2011) at one of the largest media PLCs. Board member for companies in the telecommunication and betting industries.

Board level advisor with extensive experience in negotiations on takeovers and complex sales. Throughout his career, he has been proactively involved in acquiring numerous companies including in the telecoms sector, where he was in charge of the negotiating commercial terms as well as legal and tax matters.

He has also been involved in multi-layered restructuring transactions, as well as obtaining billions of Euros in financing. He was instrumental in the completion of the largest bond issue by a private company on the Polish market. He initiated and created the largest ad-hoc banking consortiums to reorganise the financing provision of a media group. Responsible for a number of IPOs as well as the delisting of companies from the Warszawska Giełda Papierów Wartościowych (Warsaw Stock Exchange).

In 2019 he was involved in the sale of the largest Polish media company, a multi-billion EURO transaction. He specialises in risk mitigation and supporting his clients through complex transactional stages.

Outside of work, he is a family man and a football fan.

Dorota has 20 years’ experience in strategic management of the development of companies, their brands and products. In 2018, she joined the Panasiuk & Partners team as an Investment Partner specializing in strategic assessment of companies seeking recapitalization. Dorota is the Founder and President of BE THERE – a company connecting both the buy and sell-side of investments. She advises the firm’s clients on investments and management of the companies (as the investment objects). 

As a strategic and marketing advisor, she is a member of the INSPIRE Training Firm where she delivers expert trainings and workshops for management boards and senior executives. From 2015 to 2018, she had been a Partner and Vice-CEO of RISK Made in Warsaw. As a former member of the senior managing team, on the position of the head of marketing and product development, at coffeeheaven, she had become a co-creator of the brand’s success. She also gained relevant experience as a marketing and PR manager at companies like: NorthFish, Costa Coffee, Timex Polska, „ProMarka” – the Polish Association of Branded Goods Manufacturers (Stowarzyszenie Wytwórców Produktów Markowych „ProMarka”).

Dorota specializes in strategic assessment of companies and the strength of their brands, as well as evaluation of new products’ development potential with particular focus on new technologies, media, ecommerce, marketing communication (in its broadest sense), luxury goods, as well as the retail and fashion industries. 

As a leader, she participated in numerous projects in the field of Change Management, increasing efficiency, together with development and implementation of business strategies aimed at strengthening companies and their products.

Dorota graduated (with the highest score across all courses that year) from The Polish Open University. She also completed, the Public Relations Course at the University of Warsaw with the Golden PR Expert Badge. Moreover, she completed the Business Management Program for executives at the ICAN institute (Canadian International Management Institute), organized by Harvard Business Review.

Today, she also acts as the President of the Artis Causae Foundation, which supports non-educational scientific and artistic development of children living in disadvantaged areas. Furthermore, ACF promotes and protects Polish heritage by supporting the reconstruction of historical monuments and protecting them against degradation.

Szczepan specialises in financial and company law, and supervises legal and bookkeeping services provided to domestic and international vehicles used in tax-planning projects and capital restructurings. He also has experience in establishing co-operation with numerous domestic and foreign financial institutions, with particular focus on building and managing investment portfolios.

 

He combines experience in company law and international tax planning with extensive know-how on legal and tax services and solutions offered across Europe and the USA. Szczepan advises clients on changes in capital and ownership relations, investments and restructurings, and day-to-day corporate matters.

 

With his many years of experience in managing business entities, he has numerous times served on boards of capital companies to improve and stabilise their performance. He has gained his professional experience , among other things, as a member of a team of tax advisors, actively involved in procedures and negotiations relating to disputes before tax authorities.

Michael, a native New Yorker, founded ThreeBrook Associates LLC and has been its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since 2008.

 

For over 35 years, Michael has been a practicing business lawyer and an adviser to varied USA and overseas businesses and entrepreneurs.

 

Michael possesses law degrees from New York University School of Law and St. John’s University School of Law (Executive Editor of the Law Review). Michael initially worked as a finance attorney at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and then at several highly regarded business law firms (including Hawkins Delafield & Wood; Hall McNicol; and Schnader Harrison) developing expertise in legal, business and financial transactions, with special emphasis on cross-border matters.

 

Michael also co-founded and co-managed a successful and respected cross-border consulting company that largely focused on the USA and the European investments of a number of Russia and Eastern European-based companies, family offices and individuals.

 

Most recently, as Chairman of Skate’s LLC (dba Skate’s Art Market Research), Co-Founder and Director of the Art Investment Council, and general counsel of ARTnews Ltd, Michael has become steeped in the global art world and is particularly knowledgeable about art as an asset/investment.

 

Michael serves as Senior Advisor to Charon Capital (Greenwich, CT), a family office/private investment company. He is also Senior Advisor to Futures Education and Futures HealthCore (Massachusetts).

Lawyer in love with yachts and Monaco, who shares her love through a blog about yacht law called Hercberg Yacht Law and about Monaco called MCHercberg.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and the Center for French and European Law at the University of Warsaw. In 2020, she defended her doctoral thesis entitled “Legal and tax qualification of greenhouse gas emission permits on the example of regulations in French and Polish law” at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw.

In 2020, she was also entered on the list of legal advisers of the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw.

She specializes in broadly understood business law. She provides services to international companies addressing all their business needs on a regular basis, from negotiations, contracts (in pharmaceutical, tobacco, food, real estate trading sectors), GDPR, internal audit of IT security management systems, business continuity management systems, legal and financial audits, to providing tax support of Polish and cross-border transactions.

Also, she specializes in civil law, public procurement law, real estate law, including construction law, intellectual property law as well as media law, with special emphasis on personal rights protection.

She has several years of experience in a wide range of consultancy services and in legislative work on bills and in providing support to entrepreneurs in obtaining and spending funds from EU funds.

On a cognitive basis, Ewelina is focused on security issues, or more precisely, on what is still shyly called the culture of legal security, as well as on promotion of security, shaping the awareness and responsibility in this field. At the same time, she has been developing knowledge in the areas of innovation, quality management and the future of mobile solutions.

She graduated with honors from the Faculty of Law at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. She completed post-graduate law studies in legislation at the Warsaw University and in project management at the Kozminski University in Warsaw and the Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development.

On scholarship he studied also in HEC Liege in Belgium. Currently a PhD student at Faculty of Law and Administration of Warsaw University.

Sylwia advises on civil, commercial and banking law issues, and specialises in banking and finance law. In 2017, Sylwia graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Łódź. She is now an advocate trainee at the Warsaw Bar Association.

She provides specialist and logistic support to a team of lawyers providing day-to-day corporate advice to clients, and assists in all matters relating to filing documents and supervising registration procedures (the National Court Register (KRS), pledges), before both Polish and foreign authorities.

 

Marta’s experience includes assisting in registration procedures, incorporations, transformations, restructurings and liquidations, with respect to both Polish and foreign business entities, their branches and representative offices.

Sabina has gained her tax knowledge and experience working as accounting and tax specialist, VAT specialist, and tax consultant. She assists clients in relation to tax reviews, tax returns, tax obligation monitoring, tax refunds, and tax security in cross-border transactions (CIT, PIT and VAT).

 

A graduate of the Faculty of Law and Economy with a major in enterprise economy at the University of Rzeszów. She holds a certificate in Accounting Basics and a Tax specialist certificate, both issued by the Polish Accounting Association.

Joanna keeps books for foreign and Polish companies, and draws up financial statements in accordance with the IFRS and the Polish Accounting Act, as well as reviews companies’ tax situation and carries out initial audits. Her knowledge of bookkeeping in European holding companies is essential in preparing CFC financial statements for foreign controlled companies.

 

She has gained her experience working for ITCI and YOURS group, where she supported the accounting department under the supervision of a senior accountant and a team of lawyers, and working for an accounting and audit company in Nicosia. Joanna’s expertise includes managing holding companies and carrying out capital and restructuring transactions, as well as liquidations.

Łukasz boasts over 15 years of experience in taxes.
He supported his clients working for PwC and KPMG, as counsel to the international real estate group Immofinanz, and a co-founder of Galt.

 

Łukasz’s expertise includes advising big entities and groups. He participated in large capital group transformations, with the biggest project being worth approximately PLN 500 million. He has advised entities from various industries, particularly FMCG and real estate.

 

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw, and completed post-graduate studies in Enterprise Economics at SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

Tax advisor with almost five years’ experience gained working for WTA’s tax team, Galt Tax ,and during his internship at the Ministry of Finance and other tax authorities.

Łukasz’s professional expertise includes advice to the finance, FMCG and automotive industries. He advised on the realisation of real estate projects, and participated in capital group restructurings.

 

He is a PhD student at Leon Koźmiński University, and a graduate of SGH Warsaw School of Economics and Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw.
